Meow! Meow! Are you tired of your cat getting saliva in your hair when it has a good chew? Some cats are prone to doing this, for instance, Siamese love human hair chewing but many cats have been known from time to time to have a chew because your hair is dangling in front of them. Here are some ways to get kitty to stop.
Distract the cat. Find other things that your cat would enjoy, such as toys or food. Food is especially good. Get the tin and start rattling it!
Gently pull your cat down off your head. Its claws may scratch you, so do this slowly.
Get a doll head and train your cat to lick that in place of your hair. Make sure that he/she won't eat the artificial hair.
Enjoy your saliva-free hair.
Pull your hair back if this doesn't work and tuck it under. Remove the temptation.
Tips
- Be gentle with your cat, the last thing you want your cat to bite your head off!
- Go easy on the food. It will make your cat fat.
- Consider also keeping your hair tied back if it is long, as this may be an attractant to your cat.
Warnings
- Your cat might just be showing his/her love to you by licking your head. Don't ruin the love that your cat has for you!
